****Check us out on the web!****

If you haven't been to our website (www.g-pact.org) recently you should check it out! We add a new spotlight patient every month and each one has a unique experience. We also now have online forms that can be submitted for newsletter subscriptions, spotlight patient nominations, and motility doctor recommendations. Very soon we hope to have our secure form set up to accept credit card donations online.

If you have gastroparesis you may even be a part of our website in a variety of ways. You may submit a photo of yourself to be placed on the website. You may also submit art in the form of literature, poetry, visual art, and music that you use as therapy to help you cope with the gastroparesis and other conditions that may accompany it.

The website also includes archived newsletters so if you missed previous ones or want to read through them again you can find them on the site! All questions regarding the website should be sent to webmaster@g-pact.org.

****Spotlight Patients****

Our August 2002 Spotlight Patient is Beth Nelson. Beth struggled with severe idiopathic (no known cause) gastroparesis for years. She is now leading a fairly normal life after the implantation of a gastric pacemaker. Her story may be an encouragement to those who are pursuing this treatment option. You can read her story at www.g-pact.org/spotlight.htm. Be sure to nominate someone you know with gastroparesis who you feel deserves the Spotlight Patient recognition. You may e-mail Bethellen at bcoughran@g-pact.org in order to nominate someone, or use our nomination form on our website at www.g-pact.org/spotlightform.htm
