*****G-PACT celebrates its one year anniversary!*****

G-PACT will celebrate it's one year anniversary this month! As amazing at seems to all of us involved, we will officially have been in existence for one year this coming August 23! We have made excellent progress and are looking forward to a future in which we will help thousands of people who deal with gastroparesis on a daily basis. Here are a few quotes from the G-PACT staff regarding the past year and plans for the upcoming year

"I feel our first anniversary is only the beginning of many celebrations we'll share. I just want to say 'Thank You' to all who have worked so hard to make G-PACT successful. Happy Anniversary!!!" -Sherri Milburn, Supply Depot Manager

"As we approach the anniversary of G-PACT, I have found myself reflecting over the past year. It has truly been a wonderful experience watching it all unfold. The dreams of just a few people are slowly but surely becoming a reality, and our countless hours of hard work and dedication are paying off. All the staff, board members, and volunteers of G-PACT have in some way been affected by Gastroparesis either personally or as a result of a friend or family member who is affected. As a mother of a two year old suffering from Gastroparesis, I know all too well the feelings of frustration and desperation that accompanies a diagnosis of Gastroparesis. G-PACT's hope is to be able to provide the answers many of us did not have initially to newly diagnosed people, and to take some of the fear out of the diagnosis, not because we should not be scared, but because we are not alone in our fight against the horrible disease. As I look back over this last year and see our accomplishments, I know that the next year will bring even more. G-PACT will change the way everyone views Gastroparesis. G-PACT IS the hope for brighter days of treatment, knowledge, and cures." -Veronica Pennington, G-PACT Vice President/Financial Officer

"When I reflect back to where we were a year ago in the establishment of G-PACT I am amazed at how far we have come. Because the majority of the G-PACT team is dealing with gastroparesis personally, it is amazing that we have built this organization together from the ground up under these circumstances. What makes it even more incredible is the fact that none of us had ever started a business or non-profit before so we had to teach ourselves along the way. It has been an exciting year. We get excited with each new step we take, big or small, and we look towards a great future of tackling this illness in any way possible. G-PACT is constantly working towards changing the world of gastroparesis for everyone...patients, family members, friends, the general population, and the medical profession." -Carissa Haston, President/Webmaster
