created a new position within the PR department to make volunteer
recruiting and the application/approval process much easier. The
position of "Volunteer Coordinator" is open to one person
who is interested in working with potential G-PACT volunteers. This
position involves recruiting volunteers, managing the application
forms and contacting references, providing each volunteer with
necessary information upon acceptance into the G-PACT volunteer
program, and volunteer placement. The Volunteer Coordinator will also
be directly involved in approving applicants as well, but will make
these decisions with the assistance of two other people. Those people
include the department head of the area in which the volunteer would
like to work, and Lila Litter, Administrative Assistant.
G-PACT
is seeking additional volunteers to assist in various
opportunities within the organization. We have recently opened up
several new positions to accomodate our growth. You may apply to be a
volunteer in any capacity and for any level of commitment. If you are
