************ Fundraising Department *************
The Fundraising Department is always looking for volunteers or for
people who can advise on Fund Raising events (if they have done them
before, etc). If you feel that you would be interested in helping in
this area please contact Jo Fick, our Volunteer Coordinator and she
will send you the necessary volunteer form.
The following is a list of our ongoing Fundraising projects:
* Carissa Haston, President/Webmaster, is sponsoring a fundraiser
based on someone you know has GP". This
fundraiser involves
gathering information from patients with GP, as well
as a
picture, and personalizing cards and donor forms for
each
patient to send to his/her loved ones in an effort to
raise
support from those closest to them.
* Ink jet cartridge recycling is available and we all can
contribute to this. Just tell or ask anyone to
collect his or
her print cartridges. G-PACT members can send them in
to the
company at no cost and receive a profit for our time.
If you are
interested in this, you can e-mail fundraising@g-pact.org
for a
list of cartridges and prices for each. The company
sends us the
mailing supplies and postage, which means that G-PACT
doesn't
have to put any money into the project and still be
able to
receive reimbursements.
* Cookbooks: We have recipes coming in, asking everyone for them
and getting a good response. Please continue to send
them in.
They don't have to be from GPer's only; they can be a
favorite
one of a family member, relative or friend. You may
e-mail your
recipe/recipes to the Fundraising Department at
fundraising@g-pact.org
