************ G-PACT Meet and Greet Update  ************

G-PACT has launched a new program that will allow GPers connect with
each other directly through the G-PACT website! For more details on
how to become involved, and to meet others who are currently
involved in this program.

You may reach this site at: www.g-pact.org/meetgpers.htm  where you
can meet, greet and share your stories as well as read others who have
shared their stories.

G-PACT knows that Gastroparesis is a fairly common condition that is
not yet recognized by many doctors nationwide. This makes it often
difficult for people who have GP to be able to connect with others
in similar situations. The main purpose of this portion of the G-PACT 
website is to provide patients, families, and medical professionals as a 
way to meet others with GP simply by browsing this portion of our website!

If you have Gastroparesis, you are invited to send information to
the G-PACT webmaster, and you will be given one page of this site in
which to tell your GP story, as well as include some fun facts and
other interesting information about you as a person. If you would
like to be contacted by others with GP, please include your e-mail
address in the information sent to the webmaster to be posted on
your page. Even if you do not want to include your contact
information, your story alone will be inspirational to others who
want to know that there are others out their struggling with many of
the same things that you are. This service is 100% free to anybody
with Gastroparesis who would like to be involved. All you have to do
is send the requested information to the webmaster, chaston@g-pact.org,
and G-PACT will do the rest! It's that easy. 

************ Donations ************

G-PACT is a growing non-profit organization and the only non-profit
operating in the US with a focus primarily on Gastroparesis. Unlike
some non-profit organizations, which function through financial
support by charging for membership, all of our financial support
comes in the form of donations. It is also worth noting, that all
officers and directors work strictly on a voluntary basis donating
as much time as possible. 

We are now set up to accept online donations. Anyone wishing to make
a donation may do so by going to the following link: www.g-pact.org/giving.htm . We appreciate any amount you are able to contribute to our cause.
 
G-PACT also is accepting credit cards (Visa, Discover, AMEX, and
Master Card) for donations. by calling Veronica, Vice President/Financial
Officer, at 1-888-820-0729 x 82 and she will assist you in making that
donation. You may also donate by mailing a check or money order to the following: G-PACT, P.O. Box 197 , Lewisberry , PA 17339-0197

Your donations help to provide support for the many people dealing
with this devastating condition on a daily basis, and hope for a
future with better treatments and/or a cure.

*We have changed the receipt policy regarding donations given. Now,
instead of receiving a receipt for each donation you send in you
will receive one with a total given for that year by January 31st.
This new system will benefit both G-PACT and you! While ensuring
that you have the correct amount given for the previous year for tax
deductions on one receipt, this will also reduce the amount of
paperwork G-PACT does along with the expense of stamps!

"New Website Section"
G-PACT is in the process of establishing a portion of our website
which will be dedicated to providing medical professionals with more
information about GP. 

If you are a medical professional, or know of some one, whose GI
practice deals with patients suffering from Gastroparesis and the
doctor has either written or published articles, researched
treatment options, testing, etc that would be of benefit to other
medical professionals who are seeking to learn more information,
