Feb. 4, 2002- G-PACT tax exemption application is completed by G-PACT and received by the IRS Feb. 12, 2002- G-PACT completes registration materials for state of Pennsylvania and was officially established with the PA Department of Charities April 6, 2002- Unified Registration (for licenses to solicit in all states that require it) is completed April 8, 2002- Registration forms for most states are notarized and mailed April 14, 2002- G-PACT website is launched April 15, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Alaska and Mississippi April 16, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Connecticut and Kansas April 17, 2002- G-PACT is registered in South Carolina April 22, 2002- G-PACT is registered in New York and Arkansas April 23, 2002- G-PACT is registered in West Virginia April 24, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Georgia April 25, 2002- G-PACT is registered in California April 26, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Oklahoma April 30, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Alabama May 1, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Ohio May 2, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Minnesota May 6, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Washington State May 9, 2002- G-PACT is registered in New Jersey and Tennessee May 14, 2002- G-PACT is registered in Florida May 22, 2002- The G-PACT board votes in favor of allowing a medical student be involved in our research department. Also, G-PACT votes in our new supply depot director. April-May- G-PACT begins to seriously consider fundraising ideas May 28, 2002- G-PACT receives federal tax exempt status. Also G-PACT is registered in Virginia June 5, 2002- G-PACT board adds an assistant in the research department. G-PACT is also registered in Oregon June 11, 2002- G-PACT becomes a participant in an online shopping mall at www.charity-mall.com (more information below) June 14, 2002- G-PACT completes all requirements for a merchant account and begins accepting credit cards. G-PACT also completes applications for non-profit standard postage and license to lease and use postage meters. G-PACT is able to solicit in all of the following states. These include states that do not require registration from us at this time Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming. G-PACT registration pending in Arizona, District of Columbia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Utah, Wisconsin So as you can see we have been very busy around here!
