-G-PACT has been working on our first quarterly
newsletter which will be mailed in the next couple
months. If you would like to be included on our mailing list and
are not currently on our e-mail list, please contact thepact@earthlink.net
and include your name, mailing address, e-mail address (if desired), and
why you have an interest in G-PACT (doctor, researcher, patient, friend,
family member, out of interest, studying this condition, etc.) -A column which will appear in our quarterly
newsletter will include a patient-patient exchange of information
regarding "home remedies" on how to manage GP symptoms. This
includes items such as walking or sitting up after eating, not eating
past a certain time of day, etc. If you have information you would like
to share, please send it to vpennington@g-pact.org. -G-PACT is working on gathering quotes for printing
of our graphics work. If you have a suggestion of a company that may
print for free or reduced prices, please contact Carissa at chaston@g-pact.org
-Website is being updated on a regular basis. We
have many plans in the future including GP photo album, contact info for
GPers, professional site including articles written and published by
doctors, researchers, or other medical professionals. If you have an
interest in any of these areas, please contact Carissa at webmaster@g-pact.org.
-In the future, the webmaster and research
department will work together to create polls on our website to gather
more information about people with GP. The information used in these
polls will be decided by our affiliated drug companies, doctors, or
other medical professionals. This will enhance the connection between
professionals and patients. It is our desire that these close
connections will assist medical professionals in understanding the needs
of people with GP in order to enhance research being conducted at this
time. *****Check us out on the Web**** -The monthly newsletters are a great way to keep our
supporters updated, but what do you do if you want more information on
G-PACT in between? Be sure to check out our website at www.g-pact.org.
The site has a lot to offer everyone. It is updated regularly so that we
can keep our supporters as informed as possible and to provide a current
knowledge base of information regarding
gastroparesis. Read stories about people who deal with GP on a daily
basis, view artwork created by people with GP as a way to cope, read
through past newsletters, and much more! "Carissa's
