-Currently, the research department is involved in conducting a survey of people with Gastroparesis in attempt to search for possible common links. Subjects are asked to state history of illness from birth to present, type of GP, age it started, etc. Hopefully this will give researchers more insight into this condition from the experience of the people who actually suffer from GP every day.

****Updates****

-G-PACT's graphics work is very near completion. This will include our business cards, brochures, info about G-PACT, and other important info. We hope to print it soon. However, G-PACT has limited funds and not enough to print our graphics work. Once graphics work is completed, donations should increase dramatically. Please let us know if you know of anywhere that would print our work free of charge as a non-profit or print at a discount.
-G-PACT's first full fiscal year ends on Sept. 30, 2002 which means we will begin much of our annual financial reporting with all states that require it.

Also, please be sure to check out the "Rays of Inspiration" section of the site. People with GP may submit artwork in the form of poetry, literature, music, and/or visual art. This section is for anybody who uses these forms of art as a way to cope. The work does not have to be clearly about GP, but instead inspired by the fact that you have GP as a way to cope. It is also not about good and bad art. It's about the process of therapy as you work on your art. No work will be denied as long as it is appropriate for this site and the content is not offensive.

****Supply Depot****

Supply depot for donation of medical supplies is now up and running. Please send an e-mail to Sherri at supplydepot@g-pact.org or call 1-888-820-0729 x 87 for more information or to donate unused medical supplies. There are significant restrictions as to what we can accept and distribute so please have the donation approved in advance. You can get more details on the G-PACT site at www.g-pact.org. In the future, there will also be a list of available supplies on the website.
