Are you on Medicare due to disability, and under the age of 65? Several states require Medigap insurance companies to offer a limited Medigap (Medicare supplement) open enrollment period for people with Medicare Part B who are under age 65. Medigap policies help pay for expenses not covered by Medicare, such a co-pays and deductibles. In most cases, you MUST enroll within 6 months of enrollment in Medicare Part B but check with your state just to be sure.
